Head of Finance / Senior Financial Controller £80,000 – £90,000 + Benefits Car Allowance or Company Car, 28 Days Holiday, Pension, Life Insurance, Retail Discounts, Career Progression. Hybrid (office 3 or 4 times a week) We are working exclusively on behalf of a high-growth, well-established UK business seeking an experienced Head of Finance / Senior Financial Controller to own the finance function and play a key role in the company's next stage of growth. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking for a genuine route into Finance Director. The Role: Head of Finance / Senior Financial Controller Reporting directly to the Directors, you will take responsibility for the full finance function across a multi-entity group and lead and develop a small finance team. You will be responsible for: * Full ownership of the finance function across multiple entities * Management accounts and financial reporting * Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management * Strengthening financial controls and processes * Providing meaningful financial insight to the Senior Leadership Team * Supporting commercial and strategic decision-making * Driving improvements across the finance function * Leading, mentoring and developing a small team * Helping build the finance infrastructure required to support continued growth About You We’re looking for a commercially minded finance leader who is comfortable operating in an SME or multi-entity environment and taking genuine ownership. You will ideally have: * Warm communication skills * Experience leading an entire finance function * Strong multi-entity/group accounting experience * A track record of developing management reporting and forecasting * Strong cash flow and financial control experience * Experience partnering with senior stakeholders * Previous team leadership experience * ACCA, CIMA qualification desirable Most importantly, you’ll be someone who wants to make an impact rather than simply maintain the status quo, with the ambition and capability to progress into a Finance Director position
