Salary: £75,000 £85,000 + benefits
Job Ref: MC2757
Closing Date: Midnight, Sunday 1st November 2026
Our client is Broadway Lodge, one of the UKs most respected abstinence-based addiction treatment charities. For over 50 years, they have supported people affected by addiction through compassionate, specialist residential treatment, detoxification and recovery programmes. With a strong reputation, a deeply values-led culture and a clear sense of purpose, Broadway Lodge is entering an important new chapter following the retirement of their long-standing CEO.
They are now seeking to appoint an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to provide strategic leadership, ensure high-quality clinical and therapeutic delivery, and strengthen the organisations long-term sustainability. The CEO will lead a multidisciplinary workforce of 74 staff, uphold CQC compliance, and champion Broadway Lodges mission to relieve addiction and support recovery through a holistic 12-step model.
For this role we are keen to hear from senior leaders with experience in healthcare, social care or the charity sector, who bring emotionally intelligent, visible and values-led leadership. You will be comfortable operating within clinically and behaviourally complex environments, able to lead organisational development and continuous improvement, and confident managing budgets, diverse income streams and occupancy-sensitive financial models. Strong relationship-building skills, ambassadorial presence and the ability to work effectively with commissioners, local authorities and Boards of Trustees are essential.
This is an outstanding opportunity to lead a respected, compassionate organisation with a stable workforce, a Good CQC rating and a clear strategic focus on quality, sustainability and modernisation. The successful candidate will bring strategic vision, credibility and warmth, helping Broadway Lodge continue to deliver meaningful impact for individuals and communities affected by addiction.
