Finance Assistant (REED Exclusive) Location: Belfast City Centre Job Type: Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid Working Salary: £31,000 per annum Reed Accountancy & Finance are exclusively working with a reputable company based in Belfast City Centre who are recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join their team on permanent, full-time basis. The successful Finance Assistant will join a dynamic accounts team and be offered comprehensive exposure to various critical financial functions, essential for the smooth operation of their busy Finance Department. Day-to-day of the role: Treasury / Cash Management: Handle daily receipts and allocations to ensure accurate financial tracking. Client Reporting: Generate and manage client statements, remittances, and VAT reporting, ensuring clear and precise financial communication with clients. Credit Control: Implement effective credit control procedures to maintain healthy cash flow and minimize financial risk. Purchase Ledger Management: Oversee the purchase ledger to ensure all expenditures are accurately recorded and reconciled. Ad Hoc Duties: Perform additional tasks as needed to support the finance team, contributing to the overall efficiency of the department. Required Skills & Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years' experience in an account's role, with a strong emphasis on credit control procedures. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experienced in managing online banking systems. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills, confident and courteous in interactions with colleagues and clients.
