Job Title: Mechanical Fitter Location: East Grinstead Rate: £21.00 per hour (Ltd / Umbrella) £15.50 – £16.00 per hour (PAYE)Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 07:45am – 15:45pmContract Length: Initial 3‑month contract The Role of a Mechanical Fitter We are recruiting a Mechanical Fitter for a well‑established manufacturing business based in East Grinstead. Key Responsibilities Mechanical assembly work Bolting components together Working from drawings and instructions General fitting and build tasks within a manufacturing environment  Essential Experience Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter Comfortable with hands‑on mechanical assembly Experience bolting components and frameworks together Able to work reliably as part of a production team  Desirable Skills Basic electrical knowledge, such as simple wiring or connections  If you would like to know more about this role, please get in touch with Alessandra at Orion Electrotech Reading.
