HGV Driver

WPRG have an opportunity for HGV Driver Class 1 Drivers to work on a temporary ongoing or temp to perm basis for our client based in Dagenham - Essex.

Deliveries to various stores around the south of England in a class 1 vehicle
Long distance driving
Trunking
No Handball
Start times between 02:00 and 06:00 but MUST be flexible to start in-between these hours.
Average 12 hours each shift
Assessment is required (Theory Test and Short Drive)
All drivers must be presented appropriately and require a good level of English skills due to the nature of the job.

Pay Rates (PAYE including holiday pay) for HGV Driver Class 1.
Monday - Friday £ 17.81ph / Nights £19.53ph
Saturday:£22.53 ph
Sunday: £23.81 ph
Bank Holiday: £28.95 ph
Minimum 9hrs guaranteed pay per shift
You must fulfil the following for this HGV Driver Class 1 position:
Hold a Valid UK Driving Licence
Holds a Digital tachograph card
Holds a CPC card
No more than 6 points for insurance reasons
Valid UK class 1 licence
You will need to do an onsite assessment before you can start.
At least 6 months experience on class 1.
