Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Location: Rotherham Pay Rate: £12.82 per hour Job Type: Temp to Perm We are currently recruiting Counterbalance Drivers on behalf of a large and well-established packaging manufacturer based in Rotherham. This is a temporary role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Job Description As a Counterbalance Driver, you will be responsible for safely loading, unloading, and moving goods throughout the warehouse and production areas using a counterbalance forklift truck. You will also support with stock movements, palletising products, and ensuring materials are supplied to production lines efficiently. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of health and safety. Shifts You will be required to work on a rotating shift pattern: * 6:00am – 2:00pm * 2:00pm – 10:00pm * 10:00pm – 6:00am You must be available to work all three shifts on a weekly rotation. Key Requirements * Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence required * Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse or production environment * Physically able to assist with manual handling when required * Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team * This is a no smoking site – candidates must be able to comply with this policy What We Offer * £12.88 per hour, paid weekly * Temporary role with potential for a permanent contract * Full training provided * On-site parking INDLP Application question(s): * Can you work all 3 shifts?
