Lead Data Engineer – Fintech 110,000 Plus 10% Bonus Remote Working 2 days per month in the office Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Lead Data Engineer to join our high profile client. My Client is a well known global (yet not too corporate) financial software (fintech) business that has developed a unique proprietary front office lending solution. This role is with an exciting business in the consumer lending space. They have grown significantly over the past few years and are looking to add a motivated and experienced individual to lead their growing data science function. This role offers the chance to work end-to-end across a range of credit models in the business and take on a challenging role which will give you excellent exposure and experience in the credit modelling space.Day to Day the Lead Data Engineer will: • Build a new Data Warehouse • Build the Data Environment • Build out a new set of credit models (with some help) • Monitor and report on these models, taking oversight across the modelling processLead Data Engineer should have: • 7 years of Data Engineering experience • Experience building a data warehouse • Experience of building a new data environment • Strong SQL • Strong skills in Python/SQL or R • Strong understanding of data warehousing • Ideally some interest in AI ToolingThe environment is that of Facebook or Google, relaxed open with time to think and make the right decisions.
