About the role
We are looking for experienced millers and turners capable of not just setting and operating but also programming CNC mills/mill turns/lathes, error detection and problem solving, liaison with cad programmer over refinements and methods.
need to have worked within a subcontract environment on complex parts.
mostly Mazak mills, a Doosan mill turn so familiarity with mazatrol / fanuc controls would be useful, although not essential as all programming is done offline. For the right candidate we would consider dedicating a machine and programming seat especially if an experienced mill turn candidate.

Working hours would be 7am – 4pm Monday to Thursday, 7am - 1pm on Fridays. Currently unlimited over time paid at time and a third Monday to Friday morning and time and a half Friday afternoon and weekends. There is also the option of our twilight shift which is 40 hours Monday – Thursday 4pm – 2:30am.
Based on experience required we would expect this candidate to be commanding between 19-£25 per hour
