Mechanical / Heat Decarb Engineer - Bristol

We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support the delivery of heat decarbonisation projects through detailed engineering design and technical analysis. Working closely with the Principal Mechanical Lead, you'll develop low-carbon heating solutions, produce engineering calculations and reports, and support projects from concept through to implementation.
- Develop detailed designs for heat pump and thermal systems.
- Produce engineering calculations, plantroom layouts, and technical documentation.
- Support site surveys, assessments, and design reviews.
- Contribute to HAZOP studies and project delivery activities.
Your profile
You'll be a qualified Mechanical Engineer with experience delivering heating, HVAC, or energy infrastructure projects. With a strong understanding of heat pump technology and industrial heating systems, you'll be comfortable supporting the design and implementation of low-carbon thermal solutions within complex engineering environments.
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with HVAC systems, heat pumps, and industrial heating processes.
- Knowledge of energy infrastructure and decarbonisation projects.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
