Operational Support Officer – Adult Social Care

Are you an experienced Adult Social Care Administrator with strong safeguarding knowledge and excellent minute-taking skills? We are recruiting an Operational Support Officer to provide accurate, confidential and responsive administrative support within a busy frontline adult social care service in Enfield.

What You’ll Do

Process adult social care and safeguarding referrals accurately and promptly.
Maintain and correct confidential case-management data.
Prepare appointment letters, electronic referral forms and related documentation.
Provide reception cover and respond professionally to telephone enquiries.
Support professional and practitioner meetings.
Take complex minutes and produce clear drafts within five working days.
Deliver excellent customer service to residents, professionals and colleagues.

Essential Experience

Previous experience processing adult social care referrals.
Strong knowledge of Safeguarding Adults procedures.
Experience working in an adult social care setting.
Confident minute-taking skills, including complex multi-agency or practitioner meetings.
High-level administrative, keyboard and word-processing skills.
Ability to manage sensitive information with accuracy and confidentiality.
Basic knowledge of legislation relevant to health and social care services.

Compliance Requirements

Five years of satisfactory references.
DBS check and BPSS verification record.
