HGV Class 2 Driver – Dustcart / Refuse Driver – Stevenage

Got People are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver to join our client’s team based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.

This position involves operating a Class 2 dustcart vehicle on scheduled refuse collection routes and providing support to loaders when necessary. It is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HGV Class 2 driver looking to progress their career.

Key Responsibilities

Operate a HGV Class 2 dustcart / refuse collection vehicle safely and efficiently
Complete planned waste and recycling collection routes accurately
Assist loaders as required to ensure smooth operations
Adhere to all health and safety regulations throughout the workday
Driver Requirements

Minimum of 12 months recent HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving experience
Experience in dustcart or refuse collection is highly desirable
Full UK Driving Licence (Category C)
Valid Driver CPC qualification
Possession of a Digital Tachograph Card
No more than six penalty points on licence (excluding DR or IN endorsements)
Willingness and ability to assist with loading duties when required
Reliable, safety-conscious, and committed xwzovoh to high standards
Pay & Details

Monday to Friday: £18.00 per hour (PAYE / Umbrella)
Additional Saturday uplift opportunities available
Start time: 06:00 AM
Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire
Additional weekend work offered during bank holiday catch-up rounds
