What You Will Do
- Build trusted relationships that keep young people engaged
- Deliver personal development, employability and accredited learning
- Create clear, realistic action plans with each young person
- Track progress, attendance and outcomes accurately
- Maintain safeguarding, data and quality standards at all times

What You Will Bring
Essential
- Experience supporting young people facing barriers
- Ability to engage, motivate and challenge appropriately
- Strong organisation and recordkeeping
- APGCE, CIT, orLevel 3/4 youth work qualificationthat includes planning, delivering and evaluating learning with young people
- OR a willingness to start the CIT within 2 years of joining if Youth Worker qualification already in place.
- Experience delivering youth programmes or qualifications in personal development or employability
- Confidence working with young people who face multiple barriers to engagement
Trainable
- Funded programme and qualification frameworks
- Additional teaching or training qualifications
A Day in the Role
You may start with a group session, followed by onetoone reviews. You will update plans, liaise with colleagues and check in with a young person who has missed sessions. Some days move smoothly. Others require patience and calm problemsolving.
