We are looking for a proactive, values-led Community Project Manager to turn ideas into sustainable projects that make a measurable difference. You will lead delivery, build strong partnerships and ensure every project is shaped by the people it supports.


What you’ll do

• Plan, deliver and evaluate community funded projects for people with learning disabilities

• Build trusted relationships with families, communities, partners, stakeholders and funders.

• Secure and manage funding, budgets and project resources.

• Monitor outcomes and produce clear reports demonstrating impact and learning.

• Coordinate and support project colleagues and volunteers.

• Champion accessible, person-led practice and Thera’s vision, mission and values.


About you

You will be an organised, inclusive and confident project professional with experience of managing competing priorities and working collaboratively. You will bring strong planning, communication, relationship-building, problem-solving and reporting skills, along with the ability to manage budgets and adapt to changing needs.


Experience in social care, community development or funded project delivery would be an advantage, as would knowledge of grant funding, asset-based community development or a recognised project management qualification.

Practical information: The role is home-based with some travel. A flexible approach to working hours and occasional overnight stays is required. The appointment is subject to an appropriate PVG check, paid for by Thera Group.
