Job Description Leading a team of Quantity Surveyors and commercial professionals as Commercial Director, providing clear direction, development and leadership across the commercial function. Driving the commercial performance of cladding, façade and new build residential projects across Central London as the senior commercial leader. Managing commercial strategy, cost control, forecasting, valuations, variations, procurement, risk and final accounts across the project portfolio. Working closely with the senior leadership, operations, estimating and pre-construction teams to support the successful delivery and profitable growth of the business. Building strong relationships with clients, developers, consultants and supply chain partners while playing a key role as Commercial Director in the continued growth of the Main Contractor. Skills / Qualifications Main Contractor background with significant experience in a senior commercial management role within the construction industry. Proven experience as a Commercial Director, Commercial Manager or senior Quantity Surveyor, with a strong track record of leading and developing a commercial team. Strong experience across new build residential construction, with cladding, façade or external envelope experience highly advantageous for the Commercial Director role. Commercially astute with strong knowledge of construction contracts, risk management, procurement, cost control and project financial performance. Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate strategically as a Commercial Director while maintaining a detailed understanding of project-level commercial delivery in Central London.
