About the role

HR Advisor (Employee Relations focus) 12 month FTC Midlands Based / Home Based with Regular Travel Up to £42k DOE + £6,500 Car Allowance Immediate Start We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join a busy HR team on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role with a strong focus on high-volume employee relations casework. You'll manage your own caseload and work closely with managers across the business, providing practical HR advice and support across a variety of employee relations matters. The role will cover sites across the South of England, so regular travel will be a key part of the position. Ideally, you'll be based within the Midlands, working predominantly from home when you're not visiting sites, with occasional travel to the North of England when required. The role will include: - Managing a high-volume ER caseload from start to finish - Advising and coaching managers on a range of employee relations matters - Supporting disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and capability cases - Providing practical and commercially focused HR advice - Supporting investigations, meetings and formal HR processes - Preparing relevant HR documentation and correspondence - Building strong relationships with managers across multiple locations - Ensuring cases are managed consistently and in line with employment legislation and internal policies - Travelling regularly to sites across the South to provide face-to-face HR support - Supporting the wider HR team with additional people activity where required About you We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor / ER Advisor who is confident managing a busy caseload and can hit the ground running. You'll need to be comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities and advising managers through sometimes complex or sensitive employee relations situations. This role would particularly suit someone who enjoys being operational and close to the business, rather than working in a purely office-based HR position. You'll need to be comfortable with regular travel and happy working across different locations. Previous experience managing high-volume ER casework is essential. The business is keen to move quickly and will be interviewing suitable candidates as they are identified, so immediate or short-notice availability would be particularly advantageous
