Job Title: Public Services Lecturer Location: Nottingham Salary: £33,742 - £42,182 per annum FTE (Band 7, pro-rata to £13,496 to £16,872 for part-time) Contract Type: Part-time, Permanent (2 days per week) About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Public Services Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching for a college in Nottingham. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and develop learners pursuing careers in public services, including policing, fire services, armed forces, and emergency planning. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and deliver engaging lessons in public services-related subjects * Support and motivate learners to achieve their academic and career goals * Assess student work and provide constructive feedback * Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance * Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement * Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment Requirements: * Relevant qualification in Public Services or a related field * Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) * Experience teaching in further education or training environments (preferred) * Strong communication and organisational skills * Industry experience in public services (desirable)
