Salary: £13.00 per hour
Job Summary:
The Dunalastair Hotel Suites, a 5-star hotel in the stunning Scottish Highlands, is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team. Working across our Tipsy Stag Bar and The Macnab restaurant you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences for residents, and non-residents alike.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy and rewarding environment , supporting the smooth operation of our breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner , and bar services.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service:
Provide a warm, friendly, and professional service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
Take food and drink orders accurately and deliver items in a timely, professional manner.
Operational Support:
Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and events.
Maintain clean and organised service stations, ensuring hygiene standards are met at all times.
Teamwork:
Work closely with colleagues across The Tipsy Stag and The Macnab Restaurant as well as kitchen teams and reception team to ensure smooth service.
Assist with stock control, restocking supplies, and reporting shortages to supervisors.
Standards and Compliance:
Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including maintaining cleanliness and adhering to hotel SOPs.
Present yourself professionally in appearance and conduct at all times.
What Were Looking For
Experience:
Previous experience in food and beverage service, ideally in a hotel or high-volume dining environment, is preferred. Training will be provided.
Skills & Attributes:
A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment .
A positive, adaptable, and proactive attitude.
Availability:
Flexibility to work shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required. xwzovoh
