Head of Education & Learning (Deputy Director)
Location: Kendal, Cumbria
Hours: 28–35 per week (flexible, to be discussed at interview)
Salary: £50,632.40 per annum based upon 35 hours per week (pro rata if part-time)
Start Date: September 2026 – March 2027 (flexible, for the right candidate)

The Head of Education & Learning (Deputy Director) will lead the development and delivery of a high-quality, inclusive education offer, ensuring strong outcomes for learners and clear pathways into employment, further learning and independent living.

• Lead and develop a high-quality, inclusive education and learning offer
• Embed outstanding teaching, learning and assessment across all programmes

• Create clear progression pathways into employment, further learning and independent living
• Develop programmes that respond to the needs of individuals and communities
Your work will directly enable more people, especially those with additional support needs or who have been excluded from traditional education, to develop the skills and confidence to move forward in their lives.

About You
You will be passionate about education quality, learning and outcomes, the Head of role may be a better fit.
You must hold Full Driving license and use of a vehicle for work and will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check (Paid for by Right2work, T&Cs apply)
