Domestic Gas Breakdown Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Domestic Gas Breakdown & Repair Engineer to join a well-established and reputable gas contractor working within social housing properties. This is a long-term opportunity offering consistent work, well-planned schedules, and excellent support within tight geographical working areas. The Role * Attending domestic properties to carry out boiler breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs * Working on a range of domestic gas heating systems * Ordering required parts and managing van stock effectively * Ensuring first-time fix rates are maximised where possible * Working within occupied social housing properties * All work is pre-planned and scheduled in advance * Call Out rota 1 week in 4 What’s On Offer * Competitive basic salary of £40,000- £50,000 depending on experience * Company van provided * Fuel card supplied * Holiday pay * Increased holiday entitlement with length of service * Ongoing, secure workload * Tight working patch to minimise travel time * Supportive and established management team Requirements * ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1) * Proven experience carrying out boiler diagnostics and repairs * Strong fault-finding ability * Experience managing van stock and ordering parts * Full UK driving licence * Excellent customer service skills and experience working in occupied properties preferred To be considered for the position, please pass across a CV and a member from MarkMay will be in touch
