Senior Project Mechanical Engineer

Principal Mechanical Engineer – Data Centres Location: Hybrid if close to offices throughout the UK or Remote Salary: £65,000–£80,000 + benefits depending on experience We’re partnered with a consultancy that’s continuing to grow its mission-critical division and is looking to bring in Principal level Mechanical Engineers to help lead project delivery. What you’ll be doing You’ll lead the delivery of mechanical design across mission-critical projects, coordinating design packages, supporting project delivery, and acting as a key technical point of contact internally and externally. The role also includes mentoring junior engineers and supporting technical development within the team. Key requirements Strong background within mechanical building services design Previous Data Centre or mission-critical experience is essential Experience leading projects or key design packages Strong understanding of UK and/or international standards Comfortable working directly with clients and multidisciplinary teams Experience using relevant design software including Revit and IES Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar Chartered or working towards Chartership preferredWhat’s on offer Salary up to £80,000 depending on experience Remote working available Variety of office options for Hybrid working Bonus scheme Pension contribution Monthly healthcare allowance 25 days holiday + bank holidays 37.5 hour working week 9 day fortnight available Annual pay reviews and progression planning Chartership support and training opportunitiesIf you’d like to find out more, apply now and I’ll happily share further information around the projects, team structure, and progression opportunities.
