About the role

We're looking for a detail-oriented Materials Planner to join this growing food manufacturing business, supporting both New Product Development and site-wide packaging purchasing.
Key Responsibilities:
-Materials planning across the site
-Managing the purchasing of materials for the New Product Development team, ensuring the right supplier is found, at the right price, first time
-Reporting on waste and leading waste meetings
-Responsible for supplier scorecards - ensuring deliveries are made on time and in full, while monitoring supplier performance
-Purchasing packaging for the site
-Administration and maintenance of supplier contracts
-Providing cover for the wider Planning Team as and when required
Requirements:
-A minimum of two years' experience in materials planning
-Experience of working in the food industry would be beneficial
-Strong Excel skills
-Experience working with MRP systems (M3 would be preferred)
-Confident in dealing with both internal and external stakeholders
