Vintage Car Mechanic Essex Permanent Full-Time £30,000 - £40,000  VINTAGE CAR MECHANICWe’re looking for an experienced Vintage Car Mechanic to join a specialist classic and vintage vehicle workshop in Rochford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Vintage Car Mechanic with a genuine passion for classic cars and a strong mechanical background. You’ll work on a wide variety of projects, from routine servicing and repairs through to engine and gearbox rebuilds and full restoration work. THE ROLE Servicing & maintenance Mechanical fault-finding & repairs Engine & gearbox rebuilds Restoration projects Preparing vehicles for historic rally & racing events Working to estimates Working independently and as part of a small team Supporting events when requiredWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 5 years' workshop experience Strong mechanical knowledge Classic or vintage vehicle experience Experience with engine & gearbox rebuilds Strong attention to detail Able to work independently Good communication and teamwork skills Experience working to estimates Full UK driving licence Genuine passion for classic & vintage carsSpecific experience with a particular vehicle marque isn't essential — technical manuals and literature will be provided.
