£38,000 - £42,000

The Role
Digestate doesn't wait around. Spreading windows close, weather turns, land availability shifts - and when a tanker's stuck instead of on the road, it costs time, money, and goodwill with contractors who want solutions, not excuses.
That's where you come in.
Working closely with the Transport Manager, you'll take the lead on day-to-day scheduling, driver communication, and contractor coordination - making sure digestate logistics run safely, compliantly, and on time. You'll be the calm, organised voice at the end of the phone when plans change at short notice, and a genuine ambassador for the business in how you deal with drivers, contractors, and colleagues alike.
What You'll Be Doing

Help plan daily and weekly schedules for digestate tankers, bulk tipper/walking floor loads, and low-loader machinery moves

Good IT skills - Excel, Outlook, telematics systems, and transport planning software
A solid grasp of road transport legislation: WTD, drivers' hours, vehicle weights, operator licence requirements
