Employment Tax Senior Manager – BristolBristol, South WestHybrid & Flexible WorkingCompetitive Salary + BenefitsWe are recruiting an Employment Tax Senior Manager on behalf of a highly respected and growing accountancy and business advisory firm in Bristol.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Employment Tax Manager or Senior Manager to take on a senior, client-facing role with significant exposure to advisory work, business development, and strategic client relationships.The role would suit an ambitious employment tax professional looking to develop towards Director level within a supportive and growing specialist team.The RoleAs an Employment Tax Senior Manager, you will lead a portfolio of clients, providing practical and commercially focused advice across a broad range of employment tax matters.Your responsibilities will include:Leading employment tax advisory projects across PAYE, NICs, CIS, benefits, and global mobilityAdvising clients on IR35 and off-payroll working, including reviews and remediationManaging key client relationships and acting as a trusted adviserAdvising on P11Ds, PAYE Settlement Agreements, and wider employment tax complianceSupporting tax-efficient remuneration and termination planningConducting employment tax risk reviews, audits, and due diligenceAdvising on expatriate tax and global mobility mattersWorking closely with HR, Finance, Legal, and other professional advisersIdentifying opportunities to develop and expand existing client relationshipsSupporting proposals, networking, and wider business development activityKeeping clients informed of legislative changes and emerging employment tax risksCoaching and mentoring Managers and junior team membersSupporting the continued growth and development of the Employment Tax teamAbout YouYou'll have:ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent qualificationStrong hands-on UK employment tax experience at Senior Manager or equivalent levelExcellent technical knowledge of PAYE, NICs, P11Ds, PSAs, and employment tax legislationExperience advising clients on complex employment tax mattersStrong client relationship and stakeholder management skillsCommercial awareness and a proactive approach to business developmentExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsExperience mentoring and developing junior colleaguesAmbition to progress towards a Director-level positionExperience with global mobility, expatriate tax, IR35, or reward planning would be advantageous.What's on OfferHybrid and flexible workingCompetitive salary and benefits packageSenior role within a growing Employment Tax teamBroad range of complex advisory workHigh-quality client portfolioBusiness development and networking opportunitiesLeadership and mentoring responsibilitiesStructured professional developmentClear progression towards DirectorSupportive and collaborative working environmentLocationBristol, South WestEasily commutable from Bath, Keynsham, Portishead, Weston-super-Mare, Clevedon, Yate, Thornbury, and surrounding areas.ApplyFor a confidential discussion or to apply, please contact Jack Wood:ð§ jack@oscar-wood.co.uk ð 07817 796391
