About the role
We are working with a fast-growing energy company based in Kent that is looking to appoint an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to lead and execute its digital growth strategy.
Our client operates within the renewable and energy-efficient home solutions sector, helping homeowners reduce energy costs and improve sustainability through innovative technologies and high-quality service.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded, hands-on digital marketer who enjoys both strategy and execution. The successful candidate will take ownership of the company’s full digital marketing function, driving customer acquisition, lead generation and measurable growth across multiple digital channels.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage the overall digital marketing strategy
• Plan, launch and optimise paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Performance Max, Meta and YouTube
• Lead SEO strategy including technical SEO, on-page optimisation, local SEO and content planning
• Improve website performance, user experience and conversion rates
• Drive high-quality inbound leads while reducing acquisition costs
• Monitor and report on campaign performance, ROI and KPIs
• Manage GA4, Google Tag Manager and Search Console
• Identify new opportunities for customer acquisition and business growth
• Coordinate external agencies, freelancers and suppliers where required
• Support CRM and email marketing campaigns
• Conduct competitor analysis and market research
Requirements:
• 4+ years’ experience in a Digital Marketing Manager or Senior Performance Marketing role
• Strong hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns and budgets
• Proven SEO experience with measurable growth results
• Strong understanding of B2C lead generation and conversion funnels
• Experience using GA4, Google Tag Manager, Search Console, Meta Business Manager and SEO tools such as SEMrush or Ahrefs
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of performance
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
Desirable:
• Experience within energy, home improvement, construction or property sectors
• Experience with HubSpot or CRM automation tools
• Copywriting and content marketing experience
• Understanding of local SEO and regional lead generation
