Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE + Benefits

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business delivering complex, high-value projects within a demanding environment.

This role requires a confident, hands-on Project Manager who can take ownership, challenge stakeholders when required, and drive projects through to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities

Manage engineering projects from award through to delivery.
Own project schedules, budgets, and overall project performance.
Maintain and manage project risk registers, identifying and mitigating project risks.
Hold internal teams accountable for project deliverables and deadlines.
Monitor project costs, forecasts, and financial health.
Lead customer meetings and provide regular project updates.
Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to customer expectations.

What I'm Looking For

Essential:

Minimum 5 years Project Management experience.
APM, Prince2, or equivalent qualification.
Experience within engineering, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments.
Mechanical engineering background or strong mechanical bias.
Strong risk management experience, including ownership of project risk registers.
Experience managing project finances, budgets, forecasts, and reporting.
Comfortable working under pressure and managing demanding schedules.
Confident communicating with senior stakeholders and customers.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Desirable:

Experience using Microsoft Project.
Customer-facing project delivery experience.
Background in heavy engineering or complex manufacturing environments.What's on Offer
