Join us as aAccount Manager - Existing Installations Your main responsibilitiesThe Account Manager - Existing Installations (EI) identifies opportunities through key customer contacts and industry information. They locate sources for sale of company products and services, prepares documentation for prospective current customers, and ensures it is communicated appropriately.Customer and Account ManagementBuild and maintain favorable client relationshipsEnsure customer needs or enquires are met in a prompt, professional manner through effective communications, and follow customer complaints to satisfactory resolutionInterpret customer concerns and mobilize the necessary internal resources in such a way that customer satisfaction is assured while cost and employee resources disruption is minimizedAssist architects and/or developers with application of company products through layout data and specificationsPortfolio Growth and RetentionUnderstand financial goals and expectations of company, and meet and/or exceed assigned sales and customer objectivesPlan, develop and implement sales strategies to lead negotiations that are consistent with internal strategy while, at the same time, reflective of customer requirements and competitive offeringsAssemble and present information for service, fixed priced repair and modernizationIdentify and pursue potential customers to drive and support strategic growth objectivesAnalyze customer needs and secure desirable business through application of company products and servicesWork with owners and building management in obtaining maintenance agreement, renewal of agreements as well as updates to their system either to meet new code requirements or through application of new technologiesSource, analyze, communicate and apply competitive data for competitive advantage to company, and provide recommendations for market target pricingProcess Management and AdministrationDevelop sales proposals and prepare estimates for the sale of company products and servicesAssure full utilization of systems and follow best demonstrated practices (BDP)Prepare and maintain required customer information and files in accordance with established proceduresWork in cooperation with Contract Control on sales contract agreementsAccounts receivable management for assigned accountsParticipate in company professional development programs to enhance working knowledge of elevator company products, services and proceduresWhat you bringPost Secondary Degree – preferably in Business or Engineering3 - 5 years in elevator industry or related experience, or a similar industry which includes the sales, servicing and installation of capital equipmentProficient in MS OfficeCommunication: Communicate clearly and articulatelyCustomer Service: Demonstrate customer focus through improving performance; Demonstrate commitment to customer service through improving customer satisfactionNegotiation: Ability to negotiate both persuasively and effectively in a tactful manner so as to gain customers’ acceptancePersuasion: Motivate customers to act or react in a manner to support business growthPresentation: Ability to present materials clearly and engage audienceProblem Solving: ability to fully understand the problem, assess responsibility, explore alternatives, develop creative solutions and negotiate settlementsTeamwork: Ability to interact with all levels and be an integral part of the operationWhat’s in it for you?Competitive Salary (commensurate with experience)Competitive Bonus Incentive Program or Commission PlanWide range of professional and leadership development opportunitiesCompetitive Extended Health, Dental & Vision PlansGenerous Paid Time Off PlansTuition Reimbursement ProgramCompetitive Group RRSP with Company MatchThe salary range for this position is $62,000 to $75,000 CAD.Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, education, skills, and market conditions, as well as internal equity considerations, in alignment with our overall compensation practices.In addition to base pay, this role will be eligible for: Commission PlanThis range represents base salary only and does not include bonus, incentive compensation, or benefits. Eligible employees may participate in discretionary incentive programs based on individual and company performance. A comprehensive benefits package is offered to eligible employees.We are committed to fair and transparent compensation practices.
