CNC Turner Darlington Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday Role Overview We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner to operate Doosan Puma turning mcahines within a precision engineering environment. You will be responsible for producing high‑quality components to tight tolerances and ensuring smooth, efficient machine operation. Key Responsibilities Set, operate, and adjust Doosan Puma CNC turning machines Read and interpret engineering drawings Produce precision components to tight tolerances Perform tool changes and basic machine maintenance Inspect finished parts using micrometers, verniers, gauges Work independently and manage workload effectively Maintain a clean and safe working environmentRequirements Proven experience as a CNC Turner Confident operating Doosan Puma machines Ability to read technical drawings Strong attention to detail and quality Able to work a 39‑hour week, Monday to Friday Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervisionBenefits Competitive pay at £18.00 per hour Full‑time 39‑hour week Monday to Friday - no weekend work Long‑term, stable opportunity Supportive engineering teamCost Code S96 About Us We are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive community.
