Finance Manager Belfast | Newly Created Role | Growing, PE-Backed Business Description We are hiring for our client, a growing, private equity-backed company, seeking a Finance Manager for a newly created position in Belfast. Reporting directly to the CFO, this Finance Manager will oversee a small finance team while remaining closely involved in day-to-day financial operations. The role combines practical accounting responsibilities with team leadership and the opportunity to help develop the finance function as the business grows. This position would suit someone who enjoys understanding the detail, supporting colleagues and turning financial information into clear, useful insights for management. Direct reporting line to the CFO, providing exposure to senior financial decision-making. Hands-on responsibility for a small finance team and daily finance operations. The Role Oversee daily finance activities, supporting the team to meet reporting deadlines. Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary. Review balance sheet reconciliations and maintain effective financial controls. Provide clear financial information to the CFO and wider management team. Identify opportunities to improve reporting, systems and finance processes. The Person Experience in a hands-on accounting or finance management role. Strong understanding of management accounts, financial reporting and controls. Confident working with spreadsheets and accounting systems.
