About the role
We are looking for a Hands on Electrical Supervisor to manage a team of 6, whilst you will be work purely on the day shift your Team cover 3 rolling shifts covering all maintenance and Installation work in an industrial heavy engineering environment. You will probaly spend 60% of your time in the office and 40% hands on helping the team.
The Team role is as bellow, however you would need to be confident to roll your sleeves up to do the same in addition to the overseing and managing the Maintenance and Installation teams.

This is a hands-on position working across various electrical systems including overhead cranes, motors, 230V, and 400V circuits. You will play a crucial role in keeping our operation running smoothly by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving electrical issues quickly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Electrical installation and modification work.
• Fault finding and repairs on electrical panels.
• Troubleshooting and working on 400V AC and 24V DC control systems.
• Diagnosing and repairing 400V motors.
• Working with overhead cranes and handling motor replacements.
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings.
• Ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety standards.

Key Skills & Qualifications:
• Must have NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or higher.
• Ideally have completed a full electrical apprenticeship.
• Proficient in reading electrical drawings.
• Strong ability to fault find on 400V AC systems and 24V DC controls.
• Experience with 400V motors.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills (Training Provided If Needed):
• Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) fault finding and programming.
• PLC fault finding and diagnostics.
• HV switching certification.
