Job Description The Senior Azure Technical Architect will be the senior technical SME for Azure for the Architect Team, helping ensure that the design is fit for purpose in the Pre-Sales cycle. The primary job responsibilities include:40% Assisting the Presales process60% Solution design and DeliveryKey AccountabilitiesProvide technical assistance to the pre-sales process to ensure implementations and designs fulfil both customer requirements and operational standardsSolution Design and DeliveryTechnical Authority for solution designsPricing technical solutionsContribute to bid team presentations when requestedResponsibility for all aspects of Azure infrastructure designs produced; from security by design to creating accompanying high-quality documentationProvide feedback / peer review on designs produced by colleagues in the Azure PracticeListen to feedback from client teams and constantly seek to improve the services we offerHelp to mentor other architectsSkills and Experience:Strong advocate for Infrastructure as code (IaC) and have a strong understanding of TerraformKey technology skills: MS Azure Migration from On-Prem/Cloud to Azure Platform, Microsoft SQL, Storage and Networking, infrastructureAZ-300/303, AZ-301/304 Desired (or equivalent experience)Knowledge of deployment orchestration and configuration management tools (Terraform, Chef, Ansible)Deep understanding of Azure migration pathsSecurity best practice experienceUnderstanding of Microsoft Adoption FrameworkA strong understanding of the Azure ecosystemExperience with moving customers into Azure from on-premises environments such as re-hosting or refactoring customers environmentsDepth of experience within traditional technical on premise and hosted architecture, as well as growing hybrid and pure cloud solutions knowledgeAzure Technical skills with understanding of the public cloud landscapeAzure calculatorPerson Specification:Promote and live the company values; Think Client, Deliver Exceptionally and Excel TogetherExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal with great attention to detailProfessional appearance, well-mannered and a constructive attitude in all work-related mattersAbility to handle multiple tasks and prioritise work to maintain required productivity levelsWillingness to research and self-study to keep skills relevantSelf-starter and Self-motivated, flexible in approach, enthusiastic team playerStrong rapport and relationship building skills with customersStrong sense of responsibility and accountability, results drivenMethodical in approach with sound analytical and problem-solving skills, and keen attention to detailEnjoys a challenge
