Senior Support Worker - Children's Residential Birmingham £15.00-£16.00 per hour | 40+ Hours Per Week Temp to Perm | Days, Nights & Sleep-ins We are recruiting experienced Senior Support Workers for children's residential homes in Birmingham. You will support young people within a safe, structured, and nurturing environment while leading shifts and supporting staff teams. Requirements Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare Experience within children's residential care Experience leading shifts/staff Full UK manual driving licence Strong safeguarding knowledge Responsibilities Lead shifts and support the day-to-day running of the home Promote positive behaviour and independence Safeguard children and young people Maintain accurate records and reports Work closely with management and external professionals Enhanced DBS and full compliance checks required.
