Finance Officer

As a Finance Officer in the transport and distribution industry, you'll handle the day-to-day management of purchase ledger processes and ensure accurate financial records. Client Details An organisation in the transport and distribution sector, based in Cardiff. Description Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate coding to the ledger. Reconcile supplier statements to maintain up-to-date financial records. Assist with payment runs, ensuring all deadlines are met. Handle purchase ledger queries from suppliers and internal teams. Maintain accurate and organised records of all transactions. Support month-end processes by preparing ledger reports. Assist with any ad hoc financial tasks as required.Profile A successful Finance Officer should have: Previous experience in purchase ledger or a similar finance role. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Confidence in using financial software and spreadsheets. Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and colleagues. A proactive attitude to problem-solving and meeting deadlines.Job Offer An annual salary of £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.
