Casting Two Actors For Drag Queen Short Film

Role Keith: Male, aged 25 to 45. Working class man who has two hobbies chess club and drag. He’s straight acting in mens clothes and selectively camp in womens. He is slim and looks good in a dress.

Bishop Peter

Male, aged 40 and over. Peter is an educated man who is a career priest who is now a bishop of the local diocese. He is a moderniser and a free thinker. He will appear in drag at some stage.

Job payment

This job is unpaid – Will provide credits and copy of the finished film to all who help out. This is not a commercial enterprise but I hope it will be someday soon. Expenses paid– Full days on set will include meals

Title: Bishop to Queen 2. Runtime: 10 mins approx. Shooting: November 2026 (ish)

Payment: No financial payment but you can have a copy of the completed film on any medium and also you’ll be fed on location.

Travel Expenses: None, locals would be better.

Location: TBA But probably Nottingham or Derby

Roles:

• #1 KEITH: Part time drag queen open about it and happy. The sexuality of the character isn’t mentioned but he switches between masculine and camp on occasion if it suits him.
• #2 PETER: Peter is a bishop and is single and there is no reason to assume his sexuality at all. But he will appear in drag at some stage in the movie.

The Story: Keith is a drag queen who meets Peter through a mutual hobby. Peter knows about Keiths other hobby. But Keith needs Peters help to win a contest and over come some issues.Peter agrees to help him and becomes intertwined in Keiths world and will appear in drag himself at some stage which will cause him some career issues.

There will be some other minor roles for this one I’ll list separately but these are the two main stars.
