Validation Engineer - Hybrid

Verification & Validation Engineer – eVTOL Flight Systems Oxfordshire (Hybrid) SR2 are supporting an innovative eVTOL aircraft developer who are entering a critical phase of aircraft testing and systems validation. We're looking for a Contract Verification & Validation Engineer to support flight-critical system verification across simulation, HIL, ground testing and flight test activities. Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute V&V activities for aircraft systems and flight controls - Define test cases from system requirements - Support simulator, HIL, ground and flight test campaigns - Analyse flight test and telemetry data - Validate integrated avionics, sensors, propulsion and electrical systems - Produce verification evidence, test reports and traceability documentation - Work closely with Flight Controls, Systems, Avionics and Flight Test teams Experience Required - Aerospace, UAV, eVTOL, defence or advanced aviation experience - Background in Verification & Validation, Systems Engineering, Integration & Test or Flight Test - Experience validating complex hardware/software systems - Knowledge of flight controls, avionics, sensors or autonomous systems Desirable - DO-178C, ARP4754A or ARP4761 exposure - HIL testing experience - UAV, rotorcraft or eVTOL programmes - MATLAB/Simulink experience
