Multi Skilled Engineering Technician We are recruiting for a Dual Skilled Engineering Technician to join a busy, fast-paced manufacturing environment in Ballymena.

This is a hands-on maintenance role suited to a strong mechanical and electrical engineer who enjoys problem solving, reducing downtime, and keeping production machinery running at its best.
The role: Carry out planned preventative, predictive and breakdown maintenance across plant, machinery and site services Diagnose faults and complete mechanical and electrical repairs to minimise downtime Support installations, upgrades, refurbishments and improvement projects Use the CMMS system to record work and support ongoing asset performance Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve safety, quality, efficiency and reliability Maintain high standards of engineering, hygiene, food safety and health and safety compliance What we are looking for: Dual-skilled mechanical and electrical engineering background HNC or equivalent engineering qualification 17th Edition Wiring Regulations or equivalent electrical qualification Minimum of 5 years experience in an engineering technician or skilled craftsperson role Strong xwzovoh fault-finding skills and experience working with production machinery Working knowledge of CMMS, permit-to-work and isolation/lock-off procedures Good communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure Hours are weekly rotating shifts of 30 Overtime is paid at OT1.5 unless it is a Sunday and then it is OT2.
