Mechanical Fitters Required - Blackburn Meadows Power Station | Sheffield We are currently looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to support a planned maintenance project at Blackburn Meadows Power Station, Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled mechanical fitters to secure a short-term contract on a major industrial site. Duration: 7th June - 18th June Digs Provided for travelling contractors ________________________________________ Scope of Works The project will involve a range of mechanical maintenance activities, including: * Removal, overhaul, and replacement of gearboxes * Removal, overhaul, and replacement of drive shafts on rotary equipment * Bearing changes * Belt changes * General mechanical fitting and maintenance work across the site ________________________________________ What We're Looking For * Proven experience in mechanical fitting within industrial, power generation, manufacturing, or process environments * Experience working on: o Rotary equipment o Gearboxes o Bearings o Belt-driven systems * Ability to work safely and effectively within a maintenance team * Strong mechanical fault-finding and fitting skills * A proactive attitude with a focus on quality and safety ________________________________________ What's On Offer? * Immediate start - CIS Rates * 39 hours = £23.23 p/hr After 39 hours & Saturday Morning = £31.86 p/hr Saturday Afternoon & Sundays = £40.65 p/hr * Project running from 7th - 18th June * Work on a major UK power generation site * Accommodation provided for travelling workers ________________________________________ Apply Today For more information or to apply, contact: Neil @ Employment Solutions (phone number removed) (url removed)
