Class 2 Driver

Class 2 Driver (Category C) Location: Avonmouth Contract: Temp to Perm Hours: Full-time (45 hours/week), 6am-4pm, Monday-Friday Pay Rate: £17.75 per hour If you're looking for consistent driving work with a clear route into a permanent role, this temp-to-perm Class 2 Driver opportunity is a fantastic fit. You'll join a busy, growing distribution operation in Avonmouth, delivering kitchens and kitchen units to both residential and commercial customers as part of a two-person crew. What you'll be doing: * Deliver kitchens, worktops, cabinets and related products to customers * Work alongside a driver's mate to complete safe, efficient deliveries * Load and unload vehicles, including heavy and bulky items * Complete daily vehicle safety checks before each shift * Ensure delivery paperwork is completed accurately * Deliver a professional, courteous customer experience at every site * Follow road transport legislation and company health & safety procedures * Keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy What you'll bring: * Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence * Valid Driver CPC * Valid Digital Tachograph card * Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations * Physically fit and comfortable with regular heavy lifting/manual handling * Strong communication and customer service skills * Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Additional information: * Newly qualified Class 2 drivers are welcome to apply You'll get full induction and training, ongoing full-time hours, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
