Administrator - Temporary to Permanent Opportunity Salary: £13.00 per hour Location: Follingsby Park, Washington Contract: Temporary, with the opportunity to become permanent We are currently recruiting for an organised, reliable and proactive Administrator to join our delivery operations team based at our Customer Delivery Centre (CDC) in Follingsby Park, Washington. This is an exciting temporary contract opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. As an Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting our delivery teams and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. You will handle a variety of administrative duties, maintain accurate customer and stock records, coordinate with drivers and customers, and help resolve delivery-related issues. Key Responsibilities Input and maintain accurate customer and delivery information. Ensure customer data is handled in line with GDPR and data protection requirements. Arrange and coordinate customer deliveries. Manage telephone calls and communications with drivers and customers. Monitor deliveries and assist with resolving any issues that arise. Escalate delivery issues to the Depot Manager when required. Maintain accurate stock and operational records using internal systems. Support the wider delivery team with day-to-day administrative tasks. Complete ad-hoc administrative duties as required. Follow company health and safety procedures at all times. About You The ideal candidate will: Have previous experience in administration or customer service. Be organised, reliable and take pride in their work. Have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Be confident dealing with customers and drivers over the telephone. Have strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records. Be confident using computers and administrative systems. Be able to multitask and prioritise effectively in a busy environment. Enjoy working in a fast-paced role where every day can be different. Have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. Work well as part of a team. Understand the importance of maintaining a safe working environment.
