This role involves managing and delivering transport planning services for a wide range of developments across the UK, including key high profile infrastructure projects. Based in either Newcastle or Leeds our Glasgow office, the successful candidate will also contribute to business growth by managing client relationships and participating in marketing and proposal activities.Missions/Main DutiesProduction of Transport Statements / Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and Access Appraisals.Traffic modelling experience and experience of producing abnormal loads assessments would be preferable.Demonstrable knowledge of planning process.Production of reports for both private and public sector clientsManage project budgets and deliverablesProfile/SkillsRelevant degree or equivalent experienceMembership of Institution of Civil Engineers, and/or Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation or the Transport Planning Professional qualification.Help support business development in the DP sectorTo communicate both written and verbally when responding positively to challenges and to challenge others constructively in participating to deliver the desired outcomes of a Project.To develop leadership skills by encouraging involvement of, and taking responsibility for outputs of, junior staff.To clearly specify information requirements to both Clients and other Team membersProvide prompt responses and work with Clients to understand objectives and outcomes of Projects.To communicate both written and verbally when responding positively to challenges and to challenge others constructively in participating to deliver the desired outcomes of a Project.To develop leadership skills by encouraging involvement of, and taking responsibility for outputs of, junior staff.#LI-DB1Job SummaryContract Type: PermanentJob Family: JF037_Consultancy - Advisory
