Payroll Specialist 📍 Cheadle, Greater Manchester (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days home) 🕒 Full Time | Permanent Key Responsibilities * Processing end-to-end payrolls accurately and within agreed deadlines * Collating, validating and interpreting payroll data from clients * Managing payroll reconciliations and year-end processes * Performing manual calculations where required * Responding to payroll queries and resolving issues within SLA timeframes * Analysing payroll output to ensure compliance with legislative requirements * Maintaining payroll procedure documentation and client records * Liaising with internal departments and statutory bodies where necessary * Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the payroll function * Assisting with training and supporting junior team members where appropriate What They’re Looking For * Minimum 2 years’ UK payroll experience * Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements * Previous experience processing payroll end-to-end * Excellent customer service and communication skills * Strong attention to detail and organisational ability * Comfortable working to strict payroll deadlines * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team JGA Recruitment Group Ltd ("We") are committed to equality of opportunity for all applications regardless of age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and marriage and civil partnerships.
