HGV Class 1 Day Driver with Nights Out

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Class 1 day driver with nights out to join our team. As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations nationwide on behalf of a varies client base. This position requires experience in general haulage and delivery driving, as well as a valid C+E driving licence, up to date driver CPC & digital tachograph card. Responsibilities: - Safely and efficiently operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials - Load and unload, ensuring proper securement - Plan routes and follow delivery schedules - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations - Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption - Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse personnel Skills: - Valid commercial driver's license (C+E) - Minimum 2 years experience on C+E - Excellent driving skills with no more than 6 penalty points - Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations - Good communication and customer service skills - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision What we can offer: - Modern & well maintained fleet of vehicles - Competitive rates of pay - Monthly bonus scheme - CPC training & additional training courses - Uniform & PPE provided - Pension Scheme Our Work & shift patterns: - Monday to Friday - Ad Hoc minimal weekend (Saturday morning or Sunday afternoon) when required Online applications only please.
