Design Manager

Our client, a growing consultancy in the water sector, is currently seeking a Design Manager to lead the delivery of various UK water projects. This contract role is based in Manchester with a hybrid working pattern. Key Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate design across a variety of water sector schemes Oversee design teams and ensure quality delivery Support both clean and wastewater projects Projects Include: Treatment works upgrades Clean water mains Storm storage & Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) schemes Working Pattern: Office-based in Manchester with flexibility Occasional work from home (1-2 days for strong candidates) Site visits as required (expenses covered) Job Requirements: Experience in civil design within the water sector Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent coordination and organisational abilities Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Good communication and interpersonal skills If you are a skilled Design Manager with experience in the water sector, we would love to hear from you.
