For a period of time, both environments will interact as part of a single service chain.This requires clear ownership of data, well-defined integration patterns, and controlled transitions between systems. The Senior Data & Integration Architect provides the architectural leadership to design these flows, define boundaries, and ensure that the service can operate reliably throughout this evolution.Role PurposeThe Senior Data & Integration Architect is responsible for defining and governing the data and integration architecture that underpins this transformation.The role ensures that:Data ownership and system boundaries are clear and enforceableIntegration patterns support coexistence and progressive transitionArchitectural decisions translate into executable, delivery-ready designsService continuity is preserved as the landscape evolvesThis role provides the technical backbone of the transition and enables the organization to move with control and confidence.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine the target data and integration architecture for the service landscapeDesign transition patterns that allow two environments to operate togetherEstablish data ownership models, system boundaries, and integration contractsSupport wave and delivery planning with executable architectural designsIdentify and mitigate risks related to data flows and dependenciesDefine standards and guardrails for integrations and transitional statesProvide clear architectural options and trade-offs for complex decisionsWork closely with domain architects, PMs, technical leads, and platform teamsEnsure architectural consistency across domains and delivery streamsRequired ExperienceSenior-level experience in solution architecture with strong focus on:Data architectureSystem integration and API designComplex application landscapesExperience in large-scale transformation programs, such as:Service transitionsCarve-outs or M&A environmentsMulti-platform coexistence scenariosSolid understanding of:Data ownership and governanceEvent-driven and API-based architecturesTransitional and hybrid architecturesAbility to operate in in-flight programs with evolving scope and constraintsProfileYou are a senior architect who:Thinks in systems rather than isolated componentsCan reason across business, data, and technologyIs comfortable in complex, evolving environmentsBalances architectural rigor with delivery pragmatismEngages credibly with engineers, PMs, and leadershipTurns complex transitions into structured, executable designsOutcomeWith this role in place:Data boundaries between landscapes are explicit and controlledIntegration patterns are consistent and scalableDelivery waves are architecturally sound and executableTransitional states are designed rather than improvisedThe service transition becomes predictable, controllable, and future-proofThis role is central to making the transformation operationally sound and sustainable.WHAT WE OFFER:We are committed to supporting your development, advancing your career, and providing benefits that matter to you.
