CNC Machinist – Miller / Turner (Programmer / Setter)

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our expanding precision engineering company.

We specialise in one-off components, prototypes and low-volume subcontract machining, working with a wide variety of materials from engineering plastics to exotic metals.

We operate Hurco CNC milling machines and lathes, with all programming carried out offline using OneCNC.

Essential Requirements

Please do not apply unless you meet ALL the following requirements:

Minimum 3 years' experience setting and operating CNC milling machines on low-volume or prototype work.

*

Good knowledge and experience of offline CNC programming using CAD/CAM software.

*

Ability to work efficiently and independently with little to no supervision.

*

Experience machining a wide range of materials.

*

Ability to read engineering drawings, work to tight tolerances and inspect your own work.

*

Positive attitude, reliable and takes pride in producing quality work.

Desirable Skills

*

OneCNC programming experience.

*

Hurco / WinMax experience.

*

CNC turning and 4-axis milling experience.
