Bowl Tool Technician / Mechanical Technician / Machine Build Engineer 📍 West Midlands 💰 Up to £40,000 + Overtime + Excellent Benefits Looking for a new engineering challenge? I'm recruiting for a Bowl Tool Technician to join a growing automation business specialising in feeding systems and special purpose machinery. No bowl feeder experience? No problem. If you've got the right attitude, solid hands-on engineering skills and a willingness to learn, full training will be provided. This role would be ideal for someone with a background as a: * Toolmaker * Mechanical Fitter * Welder * Sheet Metal Fabricator * Machine Build Technician What you'll be doing: * Building and developing vibratory bowl feeder systems * Reading engineering drawings and pneumatic schematics * Installing mechanical and pneumatic components * Optimising feeder performance * Supporting machine build and commissioning projects What we're looking for: * Mechanical apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 or a “Time-Served” Technician / Engineer. * Strong workshop skills with a hands-on approach * Experience reading engineering drawings What's on offer: * Salary up to £40,000 * Overtime available * Full training provided * Modern engineering facilities * Long-term career progression * Work on bespoke automation and special purpose machinery If you're a Toolmaker, Mechanical Fitter, Welder or Sheet Metal Fabricator looking to learn a specialist skill and build a long-term career, I'd love to hear from you.
