Senior Product Developer

We are looking for a talented, commercially minded Senior Product Developer to join our dynamic Product Development team, based in our Twickenham office.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Developer who loves creating innovative consumer products and is ready to take greater ownership of product strategy, customer relationships and the development of bespoke ranges for some of our key retail customers.

Key Responsibilities:

– Own the end-to-end development of bespoke product ranges, from initial concept through to a fully developed commercial product

– Identify market gaps, emerging trends and new category opportunities

– Work closely with Account Managers to understand customer needs, sales performance, competitors and market dynamics

– Cost-engineer products and negotiate with suppliers to achieve target costs and margins

– Manage product development at pace, troubleshooting issues and keeping projects on track

– Mentor and support junior Product Developers, providing guidance, training and development

– Continually look for opportunities to improve products, processes and ways of working

What we’re looking for:

You’ll be an experienced product developer with a strong commercial mindset and the confidence to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

You should be a natural problem-solver, comfortable making decisions and taking ownership, with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. xwzovoh You’ll enjoy working collaboratively across different teams while also being confident enough to lead, mentor and positively influence those around you.

Experience developing products for grocers, discounters or other major retailers would be particularly valuable, as would experience working with overseas suppliers and product specification databases.
