About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Housekeepinge Assistant to ensure a high quality and efficient cleaning and laundry service is provided to residents.This will include management of Housekeeping Assistants and Domestic/Laundry Assistants and giving residents a prompt and courteous service at all times.

What you'll do

• Deliver high-quality cleaning and laundry services, maintaining a safe, hygienic, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Engage regularly with residents to meet individual needs with minimal disruption.
• Ensure all laundry is processed to a high standard, including washing, drying, and ironing of clothing and linens.
• Supervise and support the housekeeping team, including rota planning, training, recruitment, and performance management.
• Manage stock, supplies, and equipment effectively, ensuring safe use, proper storage, and cost efficiency.
• Monitor and audit housekeeping standards, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulations, and reporting incidents, concerns, or improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

• NVQ level 2 & 3 in Housekeeping (or equivalent) is essential.
• Previous expereince in provision of Houskeeping Services.
• Stock control experience.
• General administration and IT proficiency is desirable.

About Rush Court

Rush Court is an elegant, Queen Anne style house standing in its own grounds amidst the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside just outside Wallingford, making it a distinctive care home in the local area. Its 47 ensuite rooms, including a suite suitable for a couple, provide both nursing and personal care on a long-term or short stay basis, as well as offering end of life care.
