Night Maintenance Engineer

Job Title: Night Maintenance Engineer Area: Thetford Salary: Excellent Salary Shift Pattern: Mon to Fri 16.00 – 02.00 (47.50 Hour Week) Shift Allowance: 8k Job Type: Full-time, Perm I am currently seeking a Night Maintenance Engineer to join my client’s small friendly team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager the successful candidate will play a key role in responding swiftly to production breakdowns and delivering planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of poultry processing and packing machinery, including conveyors, module and tray transport systems, plucking equipment, evisceration machinery, tray sealers, flow wrappers, and vacuum sealers. Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Key Duties :( Mechanically Biased) * Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and housekeeping. * Adhere to HSE protocols, including Permit to Work, Risk Assessment, Method Statement, Safe System of Work, and Standard Operating Procedures. * Follow lock-off procedures to ensure the safety of self and others on site. * Undertake small projects and modifications as required. * Assess the nature of breakdowns quickly and take appropriate action. * Conduct PPM inspections, maintenance, and corrective repairs in a timely manner. * Perform general maintenance duties, including lubrication tasks and maintenance schedules.
