The HR Operations Assistant provides operational support across employee lifecycle activities and HR processes, helping managers and employees navigate change with confidence. This role plays an important part in ensuring employee data, records and documentation are managed accurately, and that processes are delivered consistently and in line with policy. Working closely with HR colleagues, managers and employees, the postholder supports a wide range of people-related activities, contributing to an efficient and responsive HR service.



What you'll do

* Provide guidance and administrative support to managers and employees on employee lifecycle activities, including job changes, secondments, fixed-term contract extensions, terminations and absence management.
* Support family leave processes, flexible working arrangements and occupational health referrals.
* Assist with international transfers, right-to-work checks and compliance-related activities.
* Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR documentation is completed in a timely manner.
* Prepare letters, forms, calculations and correspondence relating to employee lifecycle events.
* Coordinate meetings, manage case documentation and support HR Business Partnering and Employee Relations activity.
* Liaise with colleagues across HR, payroll and other departments to ensure processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
* Contribute to cyclical HR activity and continuous improvement initiatives within the HR function.

* Good judgement and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.



Desirable

* Experience supporting employee lifecycle administration within an HR environment.
* Experience supporting family leave, absence management, occupational health, flexible working or right-to-work processes.
* Experience using HR systems and working with employee records, payroll reports or data reconciliations.
* Experience coordinating meetings, maintaining HR case documentation or supporting Employee Relations activity.
